Alternate Route Maps

Alternate Route maps have been developed to illustrate linkages between the Interstate and secondary highways. These alternate routes are designed to help motororists safely navigate around traffic delays caused by work zones and incidents.

No assumptions should be made regarding the alternate route being clear or free of any time travel delays. All motorists are encouraged to check the live traffic feature to determine if traffic delays are occurring on the desired alternate route as well. Alternate routes are not recommended during winter weather events.

Route colors only illustrate separate alternate routes and do no reflect faster travel times.
